The market moved down today. Both SPY (-1.48%) and QQQ (-2.3%) were down.

Trading Update

• Sold 2 QQQ 3/21 $455/$450 Put Credit Spreads.
  • Received $98 in Premium on a potential $1000 loss, effectively a 9.8% return over next 15 days as a potential reward.
  • I sold one Put in the morning (7:01 AM Pacific) and one in the afternoon (12:47 PM Pacific) to do just a little intra-day averaging. Received a lower premium in the morning and a higher one in the afternoon since QQQ moved down through the day.

I have some more cash I can deploy. Most likely, I will look to get into another Spread.

I have also been thinking about how to take profits.

Wait! Come on! Don't laugh! I really do want to make a profit, and hopefully keep some of it for myself. I have not quite figured that out yet. Most likely, I should wait until the account grows to some significant size.
